well, so yeah. i gained first proficiency in Fencing today. uhm, if i were to compare it to a martial art or something, i basically just graduated from WHITE BELT... in other words, rank beginner. (well, that's what it is in karate... i don't know about any other martial art forms...) so, i am no longer a noob. yay!! normally, this wouldn't be a big deal, (so if you don't have a proficiency, i'm not insulting you, i swear to god...)but considering the fact that this is my second year fencing... so i basically SHOULD have had my first proficiency for a while now, but i never tested for it. before today. so i did get it on my first try, but there are a few people who got it on their first tries a while ago. like last year. so... i guess it's good that i got there. i would've been really mad with myself if i had let it sit another year. so, i'm now one proficiency away from being able to graffiti all over my helmet! *laughs* but i'm really phenomonally bad at case... so... who knows when i'll be able to move on. well, i did just start learning case today... so i guess that's to be expected. hey, we'll see what happens. best of luck to everyone, not just fellow fencers!! in what, i have no idea. but hey. good luck anyway. take it as you will. it's the thought that counts, right?
